We’re seeking long-term, regularly scheduled volunteers to fill a variety of key roles:
ReStore Social Media Volunteer
Help us share amazing ReStore finds with the community! We need volunteers to photograph inventory and post items on Facebook and Instagram.
- Requirements: Smartphone required
- Time Commitment: Flexible, minimal time investment
- Great For: Social media enthusiasts and creative individuals
ReStore Cashier Volunteer
Provide friendly customer service and assist with sales transactions at the ReStore’s front desk.
Duties:
- Operate the cash register
- Assist customers with purchases
- Support staff with front desk tasks
Time Commitment: 3-6 hours per day, 1-3 days per week (Flexible)
Great For: Individuals with retail or customer service experience or those who enjoy working with people
ReStore General Volunteer
Support our daily store operations by assisting with donations, merchandise prep, and keeping the store organized.
Duties:
- Unload donations from vehicles
- Clean, sort, and organize donated items
- Prepare merchandise for resale
Time Commitment: Flexible schedule
Great For: Active individuals who enjoy hands-on tasks
ReStore Donation Processing Volunteer
Ensure donated items are ready for resale to help turn donations into affordable housing solutions.
Duties:
- Clean and polish donated goods
- Perform light repairs (e.g., tighten screws, reattach cabinet doors)
- Price items and move them to the sales floor
Time Commitment: Flexible schedule
Great For: Detail-oriented, handy individuals who enjoy light repair work

Volunteer Requirements:
✔️ Must be 14 years or older
✔️ Comfortable with light to heavy lifting (within personal limits)
✔️ Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes required for safety
✔️ Appropriate clothing – No tank tops or clothing with offensive themes
