Who we are
Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County is a nonprofit, Christian housing ministry that brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Since 1994, we’ve built or rehabilitated over 160 homes, creating paths to stability for families throughout our region.
What our board members do
As a member of our Board of Directors, you’ll play a vital role in guiding the strategic direction of our affiliate and strengthening our mission. Responsibilities include:
- Attending monthly board meetings
- Participating in committee work and fundraising efforts
- Representing Habitat in the community
- Supporting and advocating for affordable housing initiatives
- Upholding our values of transparency, inclusion, and service
Who should apply
We welcome individuals from all backgrounds, professions, and lived experiences—including those with expertise in:
- Nonprofit governance
- Finance or accounting
- Law or real estate
- Construction or development
- Marketing, communications, or fundraising
- Community organizing or advocacy
No prior board experience is required—just a commitment to our mission and a heart for service.
Time commitment
Board members typically serve a three-year term, with opportunities for renewal. Average monthly commitment is 4–6 hours, including meeting attendance and committee participation.
