Please note: We are no longer able to accept volunteers completing court-ordered community service hours.
Home starts with you.
With Habitat for Humanity, you have the opportunity to build in your community. Because of the help of volunteers like you, whole neighborhoods improve and completely transform. Through this transformation, families build their futures on their own terms through access to decent housing.

Will we get to meet the future Habitat homeowner from our build project?
Habitat’s future homeowners have requirements to fulfill, which we call sweat equity. This includes construction on their home and the homes of others participating in Habitat’s homeownership program. It is possible you will get to work with the homeowners. Other volunteer opportunities also include working in a Habitat ReStore where you will have the opportunity to work alongside Habitat staff and other volunteers.
Volunteer code of conduct
Becoming a Habitat volunteer comes with great rewards and responsibilities. Volunteers are representatives of Habitat for Humanity. In addition to complying with all laws, regulations and Habitat for Humanity policies, all volunteers are expected to follow Habitat’s volunteer code of conduct.
