Partnering with families to make home possible.
Since 1994, Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County has built more than 160 homes alongside families living across east and central Pasco County such as - Zephyrhills, Dade City, Wesley Chapel, Land O’ Lakes, Spring Hill, Lacoochee, and beyond.
Every home is a testament to partnership, perseverance, and new beginnings that create a lasting legacy.

What types of homes does Habitat for Humanity build?
At Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County, we believe everyone deserves a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home. That’s why we primarily build new single-family homes designed to meet the unique needs of each partner family.
In some cases, we also rehab vacant or distressed properties, restoring them to life and strengthening existing neighborhoods. Every home we build or renovate is sold to an income-qualifying homebuyer through an affordable mortgage, ensuring long-term stability and sustainable homeownership.
Beyond construction, we’re deeply committed to supporting families and communities in times of need. Through our ReBuild Program, we provide disaster recovery assistance to help families repair and rebuild after storms or other emergencies. Our Veteran Build Initiative, in partnership with Owens Corning, offers free roof replacements for local veterans, honoring their service with safety and peace of mind.
We also believe that preparing for homeownership is just as important as the build itself. That’s why we offer homebuyer counseling and education, equipping families with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to become successful, empowered homeowners.

Home designs
We’ve built homes ranging from 2 to 6 bedrooms, with 1 or 2 bathrooms, depending on family size and available land. Our most common floor plan is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with approximately 1,125 square feet of living space. Every Habitat home is thoughtfully built with quality, durability, and affordability at its core. Our homes include:
- A standard homeowner’s warranty for peace of mind
- Energy-efficient appliances and systems to reduce utility costs
- Designs tailored to match family size and needs
- Fortified roofs for added protection (when available)
- Florida-friendly landscaping that’s sustainable and low-maintenance
- A Water Star-certified plumbing system for water conservation
- Assessable, wheelchair friendly design (when needed)

Choosing a location
Our Habitat homes are built across Pasco County in areas east of the Suncoast Parkway. We build where land is affordable, infrastructure is available, and where we can make the greatest impact. During the application process, homebuyers may indicate their location preferences, and once sweat equity requirements are met, we work with each family to review available home sites.
