Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County partners with families and individuals to make homeownership affordable and within reach. Fair and equitable access to housing helps families build intergenerational wealth and creates stronger, healthier, and more vibrant communities.

Need for housing services

We partner with individuals and families who show a demonstrated need for our housing services. This may have to do with the condition of a home, or simply that rent or home repairs are too expensive.
Willingness to partner

Future homebuyer partner with Habitat through “sweat equity” hours, working alongside Habitat staff and volunteers on construction and repair sites or at our ReStore.
Ability to pay

We partner with families and individuals earning between 30% and 80% of the area median income (AMI). Each mortgage is tailored to what the buyer can afford, and any subsidy is provided as a zero-interest, forgivable second mortgage. For disaster and roof repairs, there is no cost to the homeowner.

Driven by our faith foundation, mission and history, Habitat is compelled to bring people together across differences so that everyone, including those people systematically excluded from housing opportunities, have access. The tools employed through our housing equity programs help aspiring homeowners who face barriers. Offering these housing solutions moves us closer to our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
