DADE CITY, Fla. — September 10, 2026 — Habitat for Humanity of East & Central Pasco County celebrated the groundbreaking of a new affordable home on Coleman Avenue in Dade City on September 10, marking the beginning of another opportunity for a local family to achieve safe, stable homeownership.

The home is made possible through the generous support of Wesley Chapel Toyota, Wesley Chapel Mazda, and Chevrolet of Wesley Chapel, whose partnership represents a significant investment in affordable housing and families throughout Pasco County.

Community members, Habitat supporters, board members, staff, and representatives from the three dealerships gathered at the future homesite to officially break ground and celebrate the start of construction.

It provides stability, opportunity, and a foundation that families can build upon for generations.”

Through Habitat’s homeownership program, qualified families partner with the organization throughout the homebuilding process. Habitat homeowners complete education courses and sweat equity hours and purchase their homes with an affordable mortgage.

The Coleman Avenue project continues Habitat for Humanity of East & Central Pasco County’s commitment to expanding affordable homeownership opportunities in Dade City and communities throughout its service area.
