Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County is not longer accepting court ordered individuals as volunteers. Those seeking credit for school or scholarship programs may be asked to meet with staff to be eligible to volunteer.
Youth volunteer opportunities
At Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County, we welcome youth volunteers who want to make a difference in their community.
- Ages 14–15: Eligible to volunteer at our Habitat ReStore, when opportunities are available.
- Ages 16 and older: Eligible to volunteer at our construction sites and help build affordable homes.
Getting Started
- New volunteers may be asked to attend a brief volunteer orientation to learn about safety, expectations, and our mission.
- To receive credit for community service, school requirements, or Bright Futures, volunteers must bring a volunteer hour log to the site. Supervisors will sign logs at the end of each shift.
By volunteering with Habitat, youth gain hands-on experience, support affordable housing, and contribute to lasting change in Pasco County.
All volunteers under the age of 18 are required to have an accompanying adult

We aim to invest in the future and instill a love of volunteering from an early age by providing a variety of volunteer opportunities for those ages 5 to 40.
Younger generations have always inspired the rest of us to better our world. That kind of idealism can be infectious, and when paired with tangible service, real change can occur. Our Youth Programs and volunteer opportunities are the intersection of aspiration and action.
