Operation Roof Deployment Project
In partnership with Owens Corning Roofing, Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County is proud to help eligible veterans and their families receive a free roof replacement through the Operation Roof Deployment program.
This national initiative brings together Habitat for Humanity affiliates, Owens Corning, and local roofing contractors to provide safe, high-quality roofing systems at no cost to qualifying homeowners.
Since 2016, Operation Roof Deployment has helped more than 650 honorably discharged veterans and their families across the country remain safe and secure in their homes.
What the program provides

Who may qualify
Applicants must:
- Be an honorably discharged U.S. military veteran or eligible surviving spouse
- Own and occupy the home as their primary residence
- Have a roof in need of replacement
- Meet income eligibility requirements
- Pass required background and sex offender registry checks
Income eligibility guidelines
Applicants must fall within the annual income limits before taxes and meet all income-related eligibility guidelines. Applicants must also have a steady source of income for the past two years.
Income limits are based on household size and are established by HUD for the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater Metropolitan Statistical Area.
