ReBuilding Pasco County

Every year, natural disasters such as flooding and hurricanes affect thousands of people around Pasco County.
Our newest program, ReBuild East Pasco, helps homeowners impacted by disasters. It supports low-income households in East Pasco—primarily those affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton—who applied for FEMA assistance. Central Pasco households may also be eligible.
Through Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County’s ReBuild program, and with the help of volunteers and donors like you, we are able to provide shelter assistance, repair, roof replacement, grants and partnerships to the affected individuals who find themselves in unthinkable situations.
When a disaster strikes, the loss of a home can leave you at your most vulnerable. Habitat works to rebuild communities in these circumstances, moving them from ruin to recovery.
Mobile homes that are too old or severely damaged may not qualify. A separate program through Pasco County for mobile home replacement funding is expected in 2026, with applications available late 2025.
