In-Kind Donations
A Gift in Kind is a gift of materials and/or labor that has monetary value to Habitat Pasco. When you donate goods or services, those donations are considered gifts-in-kind and are tax deductible. Furthermore, donated materials and services help to keep our homes affordable to our homebuyers. One of our most valued in-kind gifts are the materials used to build homes.
Examples of Gifts in Kind include:
- Someone donates shingles for which Habitat Pasco would have otherwise had to pay cash.
- A plumber donates his/her time to install plumbing.
- Someone donates land on which to build a home.
