Celebrating new beginnings in Zephyrhills, Dade City, Wesley Chapel and beyond.
At Habitat for Humanity of East and Central Pasco County, a home dedication is more than a ribbon-cutting—it's a celebration of partnership, perseverance, and new beginnings. When a family receives the keys to their new home, it marks the start of financial freedom and building intergenerational wealth.
What is a home dedication?
A home dedication ceremony is held for every Habitat partner family upon completion of their home. It’s a time to come together with the community, volunteers, donors, faith groups, staff, neighbors, and local leaders to:
- Celebrate the hard work and sweat equity of the homebuyer
- Recognize volunteers and sponsors who helped make the build possible
- Bless and officially dedicate the new home
- Share stories, gratitude, and community connection
Each ceremony reflects the heart of our mission: putting God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Why home dedications matter
Home dedications give families a chance to:
- Thank those who supported their journey
- Celebrate with friends and neighbors
- Take pride in what they’ve accomplished
They also remind our entire community of what’s possible when we work together to create affordable housing solutions for those in east and central Pasco County.
Join us at a future home dedication
We invite the public, volunteers, donors, faith partners, and local businesses to attend and support our upcoming home dedications. Your presence shows families that they’re not alone—and that their community is cheering them on.
